We had the pleasure of staying at the Seagrape house for the month of July. It was heavenly. The house had everything one could wish for. There is so much space. There is essentially a living area for each bedroom. There is plenty of room to be all-together, and plenty of room to break off away from the group. Each bedroom also had essentially its own bath too, so that made coming home from the beach and needing showers stress free. Not to mention the outdoor shower!
There was also plenty of room to store our things. From kitchen supplies and food to beach supplies and toiletries, there was space for everything. There were plenty of linens including beach towels and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The décor of the house was refreshing! No tired old beach house here. We enjoyed the beautiful art in all the rooms and the colorful rugs and pillows. We felt like we were living in a gallery.
We came home late one Saturday night to find the A/C upstairs had quit. We feared a long, hot weekend. I called first thing Sunday morning with little hope of having it repaired on a Sunday and we headed to the beach. By the time we got back, it was fixed! Miracle workers!
The beach is so close to the house. We loved that and when we weren’t at the beach we were enjoying the pool and patio. From one spot in the road, in front of the house, you can look to your left and see the Gulf and look to your right and see the bay. That was so cool!
The Seagrape House is a treasure! Sanibel is heaven.
